Thread: roller rocker noise

Dave - you were told by me 2x as well as others on the Hotrodders.com site - they tick. If real loud, the preloads were set wrong. You chose to NOT understand my explanation as to how I set them as well. Pat M and others here helped me to work through my problem early this summer. But, yes, they tick. I have set them 3 times now and they still tick, so many people on the
web say they are as quiet as their stamped counterparts you cant help worrying that
youve done something wrong!
Some have suggested thicker oil,that didnt make any difference either.
Looks like im going to have to live with the ticking and accept this is normal.

Dave when I posted this question on hotrodder 2 people said roller rockers
are a little noisy and 3 said theirs were as quiet as the stamped ones!

But I do appreciate peoples help
