Need help with Air Filters
So i have a dual 4 barrel setup i have a scoop on it right now. Id like to rid of the scoop and get two singal air cleaners or one oval one. only problem is i can not find anything i dont know if im looking wrong or what any help would be nice. thanks and if you have one for sell PM me

It might help a bit to know what type of car/engine (a picture wouldbe nice).
By the way welcome.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

Depends on how big you want to go. The old 406 Ford tripower air filter is still available from Baldwin, I believe it fit the dual four 427 too. The 80s Ford Escort used an oval filter that is smaller, I have used them on a 350 with no problems, also used two of them on a dual quad 454Anyone can restore an old car, it takes a man to cut one up
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
