327 Spark Plug Selection
Im just getting ready to drop my 327 back in to the 66 Nova. Giving the engine bay a few days to let the paint cure and need to wrap up a couple things on the engine..
Here are the specs so you guys might give me some ideas on spark plug selection...
Small journal 327, 10.2 Static compression with .040-.045" quench, double hump 2.02/1.6". 280 comp cam, L79 winters intake, Holley 600, headers.
The engine ran well before with lower compression(9.25?), HEI ignition and a clone L79 cam with AC Delco R43's.
I am now running a stock type distributor with a Pertronix module and Pertronix coil. I was thinking the R43's might still be the plug to run as I had no fouling issues with them previously.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance...
