If the car is stock and you plan on keeping it stock, you won't have any problems. However the current after market cranks are superior in strength to 30 year old stock cranks. I would not use a 30 year old crank to make over 300 hp. Whereas the current after market cranks I would trust up to 450 hp and of course the fordged cranks, up to 700.
