No one gets too picky here about questions being in the right box. Charlie's suggestion sounds promising (both times), but did you look at the adapter from Speedway in your other post, here Oil filter problem?? Where do you need the inch, length or diameter? A picture might help...

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

HEY>Did look at angle adapter and although I think it might work, I was hoping to maybe just find an adapter that would allow me to just use a smaller diameter filter in the same location and orientation as is stock, I haven't found anything on the Suburban filter adapter yet but I am looking. I will try to take a pic shortly and post but for the moment just picture spinning on a filter that is about an inch less in diameter than the stock one and although we all know it would not seal, I would have the clearance I need. The angle unit may cause the filter to be way to close to the headers as it would have to face front because of clutch slave cylinder behind filter. A remote is an option but as I said things are pretty busy in this corner and it would be a stretch to make the line connections and routing in a clean and elegant manner. The corvette unit actually offsets the filter to almost touching the pan. S10 to V8 swaps have been using this for years but I have not been able to locate one for my use. If anyone has one of these, let me know. Thanks PJM
