yep and i still build flat lifter cam engines some can not be changed over has EZ or some engines are just to old .BUT... to say i sleep good at night thats a lie .there still going to be the guy that said he still puts flat hyd lifter cams in and never had one go bad ... my response to that is you have not built alot of engines. sooner or latter one going to get you and in a bbc it will happen been at this part time and now full time for over 30 years you start putting more lift and added valve spring lbs watch stuff fail . i seen things many would say will not work over the years .lucky? it.s a matter of time after pulling a engine out washing all the junk out going back threw the engine and putting it back in that roller cam will be cheap a bbc roller cam can be done under $500
