Thanks for the replies. I found the Edelbrock 1406 performer series carb in the Summit catalog for $299. I'm going to swap out the carbs and see how that goes. Yes, the engine floods out easy, and is hard to start 10 minutes after shutting it off. Thanks all - for the advice !
