We started with a little 300 HP 327 in our 1948 Thames street rod ........ it also uses the 461 heads .......... cleaned up the bottom end but basically left everything down there stock ........ added a Comp 270H cam and kit, Edelbrock manifold and 600 cfm Edelbrock carb and an MSD distributor and Blaster coil, and Hedman block hugger headers round out the package ......... came out with a super little package for a light weight hot rod .......... great sound and performance .......... coupled to the engine is a TurboHydro 350 with a B&M 2400 stall converter and a 9" Ford rear with 3.50:1 gears .......... the "injector" shroud was built by Alan Shadwick in New Zealand
