Looking for a suggestion for the rings that are not a file fit per say.Just to check and adjust to the proper clearance. They are suggesting .0030 to .0045.What do you guys think??.I know Pat said he adds .0002,but as along as we are adjusting them, what should be my target clearance??.
no that is not what i said. i am very good but not that good were i could set and mesure end gap down to .0002 .rods big and small end . housing bores .cranks. block bores . you bet i do. rings i would use for this build is mahle moly or hasting moly rings and TQ plate the block were the bores come in to real size has every thing to do with ring end gap how much you want to open it up after what you have has alot to do with the.. engine use... adding .003 to .005 more to end gap will not hurt one bit. if ring gaps are on the small side of spec you can run the best money can buy for rings and if you butt them they are junk

You are that good Pat.I'll send ya some of the clippings next time I go for a hair cut. Each hair is about 0002.That is because if it where more,I would have more hair on my head.LOL.

Honestly, this computer swap has had me worn thin.I know that I can not survive on these forums without a camera and decent computer, but call me old fashion,it doesn't add to finishing the parts I need for my projects.Just puts me in a bad mood in general. So if my thinking is abit south, that is why.
    Good Bye
