to the best of my knowledge the 3500 hd did not come with a 5.7. the standard was the 6.0 with the optional 6.6. i could be wrong and i am sure that one the guys here will know more than me about them. but i would do more research on it if i was you to make sure. if he is lying about that he might also be telling other lies.
