ok so i work at pick-n-pull and i need a motor for my truck. everything in our yard is 87 and up, my trucks a 78. i need to retain the emissions equipment to register it here (california ) to do that i need to keep the stock intake manifold.

thats my problem i know that the 2 middle bolts on either side of the head are vertical and NOT parallel to the others unlike the manifold, is it possible to have a machine shop drill the manifold to fit on an 87 block WITHOUT issues sealing?
