yes thats true about the technology thing,

but i hate 383's i see them at the track and they do not perform as well as a normal 350. some do but most do not. IMHO they make a great truck motor but just not my cup of tea for a hot rod.

there is something to be said about cube's why not build a 400???????? or a wicked 434

my next race car motor will end up being a 377 when i get to build a new one.


of course if he still wants to build a 283-302-327 i will help him best i can, and BTW modified production was one of the best classes nhra ever had, period.

i am at the moment prepping a 355 13:5-1 6 inch rod motor to drop into my nova. never ran a 350 before so we will see what happens. but if i do not get what i want i am definatley yanking it out in favor of the 302 to go back in. we will find out here in a week or two.
