    white smoke??

Well, I got another question for u guys haha. Got the vaccum leak taken care of ( seems to run and idle great now ). Noticed that it is blowing whiteish/grayish smoke out of the breather cap holes. I dont have breather caps on it right now the holes are open. The smoke isnt coming out the exhaust at all, just seems to be blowing out of the breather cap holes. Ideas? Something I should be worried about? I DONT HAVE THE RADIATOR OR WATER PUMP WORKING RIGHT NOW. SO THERE IS NO WATER IN THE ENGINE. Could this be the problem? I have only been running it for about 20 to 30 seconds at a time because I know itll heat up fast and I dont wanna wreck it so dont yell at me too much haha. Thanks for any help! Josh

You got a WELL FUNCTIONINGPCV valve on one side and an UNBLOCKED breather on the other it'll be fine. A little puffing is normal at the beginning. Provided its just puff and not pure liquid. I mean does your valve covers baffle really well?I'm sure if you hold your palm over the hole you'll find it looks like more pressure than it is. So
1)if its a newish engine it will blow by more than when it gets broke in
2)just make sure you give it that loop to follow. Good breather on one side, good pcv on the other.

PS. I never seen an engine that didnt blow like a steam engine first while. They need break in time and the above
