    first break in oil change on SBC

     



    Hate to start an oil thread but...
    will change the oil shortly after 500 mile break in on a '73 block sbc crate. Any issues with going to a syn oil like amsoil 10-40 this early on or should I wait for one more change using dyno oil?
    Recommendations?

    I've used nothing but syn oil in mine since that first 500 mile break in oil change. That is what GM performance parts recomends.
