what head are you going to use ? v tec s springs are not the same older springs. older set have damper and the set up height is not the same . new springs are not that much 30.00 to 50.00 bucks you can just shim the old springs a with some VSI spring shims a 060 should work but if the valves been banging they beat the seats out then they cup the intake valves and beat in the seat s sure you do not need more then just springs ??? i have seen many of the V heads crack under the valve seat and run down in the bowl .you need to do abit of work to get the v tec heads to fit. a older intake is not a bolt on dealLast edited by pat mccarthy; 07-01-2010 at 06:49 PM.
