i might rebuild it but it runs right now so as is til i want more power. idk ill go look again its in my storage unit so ill have to make a trip out there.

By 1980 the Vette 5.7 was starting to get a little weak. HP was either 190 or 230, and compression was down in the 8.2 to 9.0 range. Not a horrible engine, and it can be bumped up with standard hop up techniques. If it runs ok now use it and redo it later on when you feel the need for more speed.
