Depends on the power range you want and what cam and converter you will be using. An Edelbrock RPM or Weiand Stealth high-rise, dual-plane intake will make more power under curve up to 6000 than a single plane intake. The break-over comes at about 6000, where the single plane will begin to make more power. It's not all about max power, it's about power under curve on the way to max power. The motor could conceivably make more max power with a single plane, but if it will make more power under curve with a dual plane, the car could be faster even though the dual plane may make less max power.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
