Looking for SBC intake bolt wedge / spacer
I'm aiming to place my 1984 350 SBC intake on my 1989 350 SBC engine.
The 89 engine was fuel injected and has the 4 center intake bolts are at a different angle. I'm looking for a better option on making the 28 degree wedges needed for making the flat bolt clamping surface.
My current plan is to work over a piece of hollow round stock (3/4" od 3/8" id) on the band saw at a 28-30 deg angle and the dress it by hand with a file.
The round stock pieces i have are 2" each and will require me to tack weld them to a piece of flat stock and then to clamp the flat stock in the band saw vice.

Square beveled washers are specially designed for
shimming and leveling in structural applications. Use with
American standard beams and channels that have 1:6 slope
(the same taper as a standard I-beam). Plain Malleable
washers are for general applications.
Beveled Washers
Malleable - Plain and Galvanized
Not perfect but close enough to work with, I'm grinding to slightly modify and narrow the shape. Also using a brass washer between the intake and the beveled washer.
