Most aftermarket intakes are good, except the SP2P, it was a stock designed intake made from Aluminum, no performance gains goin to this intake except it is lighter. Stay away from single plain intakes, you'll lose power.
Quadrajets are hit or miss, some good, some bad. If you get a good one, you are good to go for years. A messed up one is a headache, even after a rebuild. Holleys and Edelbrocks are easier to work on, that's why so many people ditch the quadrajet. If the qjet you have works good, stay with it. I like Holleys, but Edelbrocks get better mileage.
