Is a phenolic type adapter best suited for my application. What is the best adapter recommended? Thanks for any info and of course your time.

I have a 327/300 from a 63 corvette in my 50 f1 pu and It has an offenhouser intake that was set up for a quadrajet and i put the adaptor on to go from the quad to a 1406 square bore, the way I understand it they are good even if going from square bore to square bore. alum is ok phenolic that will transfer less heat is even better.
