    pushrod help

Ok, so I'm not selling my motor now. So I've got the heads ready to bolt on but need to know what size pushrods to get. My deck height is .023, I'm using camelback cast #186 heads with 2.02 valves, and a .550 lift cam. I've heard several posts about having the wrong pushrod and seeing them come through the block...not where I want to be. Any help, as always, is greatly appreciated.

I don't think it's the pushrods going thru the block. You need to assemble it with rocker
arm and take a look at the geometry. You can buy adjustable pushrod to use for
the set up and then buy the right length. I use Smith Bros. Herbert sells them. If
you buy good ones u don't need them big fat ones either.

Thanks Tech, thank Rat- Hopefully I can do this with no problem. I'm more of a visual learner and diagram reader. Keep your fingers crossed.
