    bearing numbers ??

     



    why has CLEVITE77 changed the part no. on small block 350 mains ? is this something they do from time to time? 12-05 MB 2508H now it is MS 909H apparently.

    on the H bearings they did change the rods to a new number with the narrow bearing shell. they may have did the same with the mains? i stop using there H bearing mains some time ago

    this is a 4340 race crank . is this not for H series bearings ? would the cheap ones hold up? ran theses for 2 years , turning 7000 RPM regularly still look good just through the first layer.

    the numbers are for H bearings i use king or speed pro mains. i still use there rods bearings. we spin thing s that hi .you like them keep using them i feel with a strait shot crank oiling they will work ok. but i like the 3/4 oiling groove bearing . i just moved on to others bearings
