we trimed the tips of the ears off of them. to get the trans in and out with out pulling off the headers so that wee bit was were to bolt hole was for the dust tin so they never went back on they just get in the way from checking the stall bolts .i like to check them every now and then anyways if you loose one at 6500 sounds like someone is shooting at you
