So i know this isn't a hotrod, but i've got a 97 Pontiac Sunfire with the 2.4L engine. Its got 168000 on it. I had the coil tower go out on it, so i replaced the boots, plugs, and tower. It was relatively cheap. I drove it for about 2 weeks and the same thing happened...it running on 2 cylinders. What is causing the tower to malfunction? Theres gotta be something in there causing it to short out. HELP!

Those all had problems from the get go. Get one from the dealer and it'll cure ya right up.Be sure and use plenty of dielectric grease on both ends of the plug boots.
