Made a post a couple days back about road draft tubes on my 327.
Thanks for your replies!

Took my edelbrock intake manifold off today to look at the can in the valley.

Noticed that two of the coolant ports to the heads are blocked with almost black looking charcol. The intake gaskets were not sealing around these two ports and causing this hard black stuff to form? When looking at the bottom of the intake, the ports that match these coolant ports are burnt-brown from the heat that was formed from the blockage.

This all make sense, because when i got the car last year before storing it is was blowing alot of white smoke out the exhaust pipes.

I'm on a limited bugdet.

Is it time for a rebuild?
Should i replace just the heads?
Or can i just clear this hard black stuff out, throw on some new gaskets with silicone, I already have a new manifold (i was going to put on anyways).

Thanks!

Chris
