I dont know if this is the right spot but would anyone know what the weight of a 4.3L V6 chevy is. Im plan on putting it in my suzuki samurai with a aluminium intake and carb and headers. Anything need to be changed on it to do this and what size carb would be good. Any info would be great thanks.

Does anyone know if the cam needs to be changed to put a differant distributor in for the carberator intake. I was told the gear may be differant on the cam.

[i have a 4.3 chevy in one of my pintos ... love it .. you will need an electric fuel pump .. one of those little ones from autozone or such will work fine .. i run a regulator set at 4 lbs i think .. i will get you an edlebrock intake part # as well as the edlebrock afb type carb that i`m running ... an older type electronic distributor ( pre computor )from the mid 80`s or so will fit .. i may even can get the part # off mine ..something has changed .. i cant post a pic of my engine .. seems to be this thread only ..
