Fuel line crud?
If your car had been sitting for a long time prior to getting it running, you may be sucking up deposits from the tank and lines.I had my tank boiled out at a radiator shop, then I plugged the end coming from the tank and from the line up front sprayed it full of aerosol Berryman Chem-tool carb cleaner, plugged it up and let it sit 48 hours. Then putting that end into a coffee can and went back to the rear and blew it with the air compressor, you won't believe the crap that came out of the lines.Replacing the lines may be a better option also. Before I did that the inline filter plugged up and it quit running too.

It would be nice if this up and down crap would cease.
