Sean the wheel dollies are a great idea. I had to jack up my frame to get the engine hoist far enough under the front of the truck to pull my engine. Those old style front axles hang so low the rails of the cherry picker actually run into them.. I bet the dollies give you just enough hight to clear them. I'll have to rememer that when mine goes back in! The engine looks great! So does the frame. I hate ford blue, so I've been tossing around red or yellow for a color, but the black really makes all the billet and chrome stand out!"

Thanks for all the comments, you bet I got a little more motivation to get this car together just to hear it.
Stovens-I had to get the wheel dollies to move the car around cause just outside my garage door is a pile of parts that I have no where else to put so I can't even roll it around. They were on sale for $44/pair from Princess auto(Harbor freight in Canada) and they are actually pretty sturdy, steel wheels and all. I can't get the crane under my frame either, even with the dollies it's about 1/2". My chest just rubs it now when I crawl under (which I don't like at all).
I mounted my Alternator today with the Billett Specialties kit, you can see the pulleys that come with it, and I bought two belts so I have a spare and both were too short. UUUGGGGHHHHH!
Sean

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
