    I've always just used rtv, never had any problems.

    the best place for thos dumb cork and rubber end seals is in the trash, nobody i know will use them.

    Thanks guys, the rubber gaskets are in the garbage and I used the red high temp RTV cause it was good for 650F as opposed to the Black 500F, I don't really think it makes much difference though. I just spread a thin layer of Aviation form a Gasket around the water jackets as per AFR.
