Got a quick question and need a quick answer
Scat cranks is this a good brand. And how do you know if you have a one or two piece main seal?Last edited by ChevyDave; 09-17-2008 at 11:11 PM. Reason: Fix a spelling problem.

Scat is just fine. That's what I'm running. You can always go better which equals MORE MONEY! One piece, the rear main seal bolts into the block seperately from the rear main cap. Two piece, the seal is in the rear main cap and block. Also, a one piece crank has no flange on the back, just a machined round crank boss.

I found a scat crank on ebay and so far I am at 50 buck with shipping so I think as long as it is in good shape it shouldbe a good buy. It is suppose to be brand new. Thanks for the info.
