i looking into rebuilding my sbc 400 in my 1984 chevy k10 it is currently in the truck still i will be pulling it this weekend and starting disassembly( i have a really loud knocking from the oil pan) iam planning on a total rebuild unless its an easy fix but doubt it. does anyone have any suggestion for a hot 400 set up for the street a have a buit 700r4 and a 10 bolt 8.5" rear with 3:73 gears and iam spinning 36" tires
