Try preoiling the engine and see if a bit of fresh oil circulating through the system will help.... If the bearing clearances are on the tight side, engines will turn hard when new.... Lots of drag on the rings, too before they get seated....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
