Hey guys at the moment chasing some infor regarding an ignition system for my coupe... At the moment i have a 383 Chev making around 530Hp using a HEI distributor, this was all good until i had to put the engine in the car and the distributor hits the firewall... I would now like to change to a magneto system as this will solve all of my problems and the look so much better!

Is anyone on here knowledgeable about these? This motor is mainly for the street however infrequent action on the strip happens... What are pros and cons? Will they work on a car that is not blown as that is all you seen to see them on? Any info is going to be great!
