it does increase lift & CAN in crease HP... its trial & error, some people use 1.6 on intake & exhause, some do it just on exhaust...or intake...depends what works.
As I recall your ZZ4 uses self aligning rockers, so keep that in mind if buying rockers.John75 GMC C-15 factory 454, automatic, lowered
