Starter woes.
SBC 350 starter bolt hole broke off. The outside bolt apperently was tapped and helcoiled before I got it and I didnt know it. Ive added a few mods to the motor and it has/had some serious grunt. It is in a 89 yj wrangler. My question is do they make a alternate starter that bolts on or do I have to weld the block up? any suggestions?

Depends. If you're running a stick trans, you could find an old style bellhousing that takes the three-bolt starter. If not, looks like you're looking for a good man with a welder!
Is there any thread left in the block? If there is,a piece of threaded rod will make the job a lot easier by lining up the broken-off piece, assuming you still have it.

You should be able to use the other bolt hole in the block . And mount one of the after-market one to your block .

He still needs the outside one to be repaired no matter what configuration he goes with. Run with Pat's idea.

He may-be able to drill a new hole in the block . And use one of the inner holes of this type of starter ?

Thanks for the all the helpful ideas. Looks like the best way to go with the amount of torque my engine has is to weld it up and retap it. I still have the broken part that fell off, luckily it hit me in the forehead while I was trying to figure out the problem lol.
