Gassersrule-196 I really like 327 SBs and they can be built to E.T well . In the early 80s I had a gutted out 1969 Nova I would say 3200lbs . I ran a SJ 327 30-over 331 11.1 pop up pistons with a set of 202/160 64CC angel plug GM Turbo heads . And a solid lifter 540 lift cam . The intake was a Weiand team G with a Holley 750 D/P . And for a trans I had a TH400 with a 3800 stall and a 12 bolt with a 488 gear . I think this car was fast and I even broke an axle two times racing it . But I think the best it ran on HP ( I do not spray cars ) Was 12.60s . And I do think thats all It had ! I do know today we have better heads and intakes . But still don't think you would make that car run that much faster on HP . But I did have some fun on the street with that car :LOL:Quote:
