    suspension questions

I have a 69' Cadillac Fleetwood Broghm. Looks like it sits kind of low but it's really not. I've just redone all oof the gaskets in the front and the bottom of the engine. While my son and I were under the car I got to lookin' around, all the bushings and the seals are gone in the front suspension so I got to lookin' at the rear suspension. When I was lookin' at the springs I noticed it looked like someone had airbags inside of the springs at one time. Then I found what seems to be some kind of leveling device with air hoses running out of it that had been cut off. But, there is no other indication of air tanks or anything else. The device I found looks kinda like the device you'de find on the back of a semi to raise the frame when theres a load on it. Anyone ever seem one of these in a car? or know anything about it??? I would like to put something like that back on it since I can fit about 30 bodies in the trunk. I think it will be a good drive-in movie car! Just gotta have a few more kids.

Your Caddy has ride ht controll. It has 2 shocks that are adjusted by a vacuum compressor. The air is controlled by a ht sensor that has a built in delay. Hope you enjoy your car.

Well Don, all the hoses and stuff were cut and I imagine that they put regular shocks on the rear of the car. It'll be a little hard to enjoy it. Is there any place I can get information on how to redo the suspension?
    Thanks!
