    how much horse power does a stock 1977 350ci engine w/4bbl carb put to the flywheel?

    Now that would depend which stock 350 out of which year car or truck. But probably between 200-230.
    Objects in my rear view mirror are a good thing unless,.... they have red and blue lights flashing.

    GM said 165hp in 1977, but the new 350 crate motors built to the same specs claim 260hp at the flywheel. I think the 1977 number was wheel hp though.

    I'm a c-3 Vette person so I can relate to your question.

    1977 was the bottom in Hp from GM in the 350's The Vette was 195 hp.

    Your better off purchacing a modern crate motor in your price range
