what the hell is wrong with a fluid-dampnr the tci rattler is the same thing, ive never seen somones balance brake, ive seen them come off because of no bolt, but not brake and destroy the guts of a motor

fliuldamper are the biggest piece of shit ever made for real race engines...ask any pro engine builder and you will get a ear full why there a pos!!! try balanaceing one.. ever time you spin one the balance changes so you can't get a rotating assy to come out right. so if the balance changes every time i shouldn't have to tell you the problem's it will have. broken cranks, bearing all f--up, bad enough to brake a sbc oil pump houseing,etc etc... seen it over and over again......

I agree 100% with this.
I had a customer bring me a Fluiddampner about 5 years ago one fall.
By the time I was ready to build his engine the "fluid" or goo had leaked out of the dampner and in to the cardboard box it was sitting in.
I run ATI on all hi-dollar engines or the SFI approved Pro Products dampner on the low dollar builds.
Before any talks about the Pro Products being made in China I know but we are getting good main bearing life out of the I.M.C.A. mod engines.
I.M.O.,the Pro Products SFI approved is good enough for about 50% of all the street engines I build.

some just dampen and some dissipate like the rattler they say? some will dampen but when do they work ? like the fuild damper? they say.. they will brake the noise off the crank? or crack it all to hell i used all ATI now

i stop using the fuilddampers to some time ago from what i was told and what i did see. yes may need some thing stronger then beer .i will brake out the markers mark
