Well, it looks like I got lucky and had a good cam break-in. Lunati suggested something a little different that I hadn't run across before. After the 20-25 min. at 2000+ rpm they said to add 500 rpm for one min. and keep doing this until 3500 rpm, then work downward to 1000 rpm in the same way.
Anyone done it this way before? It worked out okay but got a little hot towards the end.Topped out at 220* on temp. gauge.
Will take first drive in the morning but set timing and idle and feels pretty punchy- but without a load so far. But just wondered if anybody had seen this break-in from Lunati before?
