Well, I've got my new heads- DART IE's- now I'm looking at a Lunati bracket master cam something like this- ad. dur. at 284* and at .050 218* with a lift of .458- rpm range of 1500 to 5200 which seems to be about my limits on that as I've hardly ever broke 5500 rpm. This would go in sbc 350 bored .060 over with 350 auto and 3.73 gears in the rear. Holley 300-36 dual plane intake with Holley 600 vac. sec.. Have 1 5/8" dynomax headers with an x-pipe and exiting just in front of rear tires. Does this seem like a setup that would work for the street without being too doggy trying to get going? Oh, it's in a 3800 lb. 1971 chevy 1/2 ton pickup that seemed to take off half decent with stock heads and summit cam- 204*-214* and .420 and .442" lift on 112 lsa. Anybody willing to take a SWAG at what this might do?
