LT1 Cadillac
I have a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with the Chevrolet LT1 engine. In stock form, the engine produces 260 horsepower. Is it possible/feasible to build the engine for 350-400 horsepower? Any input and pointers would be greatly appreciated; I'm new to this horsepower building thing. Thanks!

I think so, but why? It'd still be pulling around a 2 plus ton barge.Duane S

Why not? I've driven the vehicle and think the torque is fine for most peoples purposes (330 ft-lbs.), but it's always my been my dream to hot rod a large Cadillac. What kinds of things boost the power on the LT1? Heads?

Have you driven the car yet? If not LT1s are torque monsters even though a small block....It should push that caddy around pretty good...
