    I think so, but why? It'd still be pulling around a 2 plus ton barge.

    Why not? I've driven the vehicle and think the torque is fine for most peoples purposes (330 ft-lbs.), but it's always my been my dream to hot rod a large Cadillac. What kinds of things boost the power on the LT1? Heads?
