    help chevy 350 small block

     



    i just got a 74 camaro with a 350 and i want more power... it has doug headers and a magna flow with 2 1/2 pipe. it also has a edelbrock carb i am only 16 years old so im on a tight budget so what will be the cheapest way to get more horseys

    You didn't mention what kind of rear gears you have.

    If you put something like a 3.73 or higher in, it will feel like you have a more powerful engine,thats about the cheapest suggestion.

    You may also want to try an aluminium intake and maybe a Pertronix distributor, that wouldn,t be too expensive.Of course you could always swap the cam and heads for some nice aftermarket ones,but that can get a little pricey.
