SB rebuild/replace
First time to this forum, and would love to pick you guys brains.
I have a 69 Chevelle with a "tired" 350 that I want to replace/rebuild. The engine has 150k miles, leaks out of every gasket, and overheats to the point of running rough, so mating surfaces are probably warped beyong repair.
I am looking at getting a shortblock, and the Edelbrock EDL-2098 top end. Has anybody used this? Do anybody have a suggestions for a good daily driver?
I have spent a lot of time restoring this car. It looks good, and now I need an engine that will make it a good daily driver. Any suggestions?

Thanks. That does look good. I had checked the engines at Summit, but must have missed that one.
Changed the shocks yesterday to OEM spec Monroe, they are still gas shocks. Disappointed that the ride is still very firm, it is not as bad but I was hoping for better. Might have something to do...
