    That engine probably had the long pump that had the alternator mounted on top of it. 68s had the short pump and the long ones came out in 69 on passenger cars.

    Thanks Bob W, it seems to ring a bell that it might have been the long pump on originally mmmmm. M8 once i get all the crap of the engine ill post the engine numbers, i got some but not sure if their any help
    3973324 (the 33 i cant read properly, but looked like 33)
    T27 CONV2
    T?112CTK
    12 71 AND A CLOCK
    some of these may be iffy cause i cant read them properly untill i clean engine fully. Thanks again fellas
