What Spark plug?
What is a good street plug for my 350 small block? I like AC and Autolite. Need heat range.
Trick Flow aluminum heads (64 cc chambers) 23 deg. 195 runners
Comp Thumpr Cam:
Lift .513 intake and 498 exhaust
Duration @ .050 is 227 and 241
Holley 650 dp
MSI ignition

You didn't finnsh all the information.
What piston you have? Dome or flat top and dish?
What fuel are you plan on burning?

Oh, sorry bout that.
Flat top pistons, 91 octane here at sea level in so. Calif.
Is it advisable to run a hotter plug with aluminum heads?

The last number on the Autolite plug part number it the heat range, so you need to run three or four un the heat range.. I would start out three first and if the motor skip little while driving the step up one number until it runs smooth. If you are running a 350 to got 10:1 compression.

Start at 36 dreg total timming, now if it rattle little back the timming down little until it stop.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
MSD 8360 distributor vacuum advance
