I want to swap in a better Power Plant, and was thinking about the 383 Stroker Motor due to the Torque it makes at Freeway speeds (which is where I do all of my towing). And If I stay Vortech can I just get a Block and a set of Heads for a 350, and just swap in the rotating assembly and have it work right? I am in the middle of my first motor build right now on a 225 for my old Jeep so I do not have much experience at all. Any help is appreciated.
If you keep l your computer you will be very limited on camshaft profiles.
Also keep in mind with 70+ more cubes you will burn more fuel so make sure your fuel injection unit can handle it.
