iam sorry. i should have been more clear. i am trying to keep the engine with a clean look. I understand where the fuel lines go on the carb. iam trying to see how everybody had routed the line to the fuel pump compared to running the line from the carb over the front of the engine to the pump

well on my mustang i have an electric fuel pump installed in the tank, i run the factory line up to the firewall and from there it hits an inline filter with a thermo electric cooler, changes to steel braided line, runs up my bellhousing, and then has two brackets on the intake that keep it raised about an inch off of the manifold up to the carb and plugs in.... i'd put up a picture but my digital camera is in pieces

on my rambler it runs up to the fuel pump all the way with the stock steel line, and then runs up to the carb with a custom made stainless steel tub, looks good performs nicely(at least for a rambler )
just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
