Engine help
A good friend of mine has given me a 350 Crate motor with around 35,000 miles on it.
The block ID is 10066036 which decodes to 1994, 350, Goodwrench crate motor, 2 piece rear main seal, “Hecho en Mexico”.
The heads ID is 33417369 which decodes to 1990-up 350, Gen. 1 Goodwrench crate motor, “Hecho en Mexico”, 76cc.
Any idea on the horse power and compression ratio.
I’ve got a 305 in my 1986 Silverado. I’ve had a Holley 670 cfm Pro-Jection installed on it.
I figure that the 350 can’t get any worst gas mileage.
The 350’s got an Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold.
What are some performance upgrades could I do without hurting the mileage?
I was thinking about headers and a small cam.
Which ones would y’all recommend?
Would I be better off with a carburetor?
Thanks for any help.

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
